Functional nutrition is a client-centered practice rather than a disease-centered practice. It focuses on the body as a whole ecosystem, and the main goal is to address the root cause of symptoms. These symptoms can be clues to potential food-related health issues, such as nutritional deficiencies, food sensitivities, or food allergies. Holistic approach considers the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit, while also encompassing social and environmental factors. Rather than concentrating on a single aspect, it examines all facets of an individual's life. This approach includes nutrition that enhance and sustain health across these dimensions, utilizing foods that promote cellular function, along with various other methods.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

This process is tailored to each client's individual needs. Consider it this way: based on your unique situation and how long you've been in your current state, how much time are you willing to dedicate to forming new habits, breaking old ones, and adjusting your existing habits? Generally, it requires time, which many of us may not want hear, myself included. However, I believe it's a worthwhile investment regardless of your choice. Research suggests a timeframe of about 6-12 months, but remember, every client is unique. Some may prefer to meet bi-weekly or monthly, as there isn't a universal solution. If you've faced health challenges for years, it will take time and commitment to reset your body.
